Put Inkwell on your phone
Inkwell installs straight from your browser. It takes about a minute, needs no app store and no account beyond the one you already use here.
- 1
Open Inkwell in Chrome
On your phone, open Chrome and go to fluid-memo-studio.lovable.app. Sign in so your notes load before you install.
- 2
Tap the three-dot menu
It sits in the top-right corner of Chrome. On Samsung Internet it's the menu at the bottom-right instead.
- 3
Choose “Add to Home screen”
Some Chrome versions say “Install app”. Either one is the right choice — they do the same thing.
- 4
Confirm the name and tap Add
You can rename it to anything you like. Inkwell then appears with its own icon in your app drawer and home screen.
After it's installed
It opens full screen
No address bar, no browser tabs — it looks and feels like a normal phone app.
Allow the microphone once
The first time you record a voice note or start a meeting, tap Allow. Chrome remembers it for next time.
Allow notifications
Say yes when asked, and reminders for calendar events and due tasks arrive on your phone.
Your notes are already there
Because you signed in before installing, your notebooks, tags, checklists and files are waiting for you.
If something looks wrong
- No “Add to Home screen” option? Update Chrome, or open the site in Chrome rather than a link preview inside another app.
- Old version showing? Close the app fully and reopen it — it refreshes from the web each time it starts.
- Microphone blocked? Long-press the icon, open App info, then Permissions, and allow the microphone.
- Want the Play Store version instead? See the store submission page.
